Bon Voyage Alea Nur

Alea Nur Fazlina is my cousin (my uncle's/PakNgah's daughter). We are quite close compared to other cousin's on my father's side. I think it maybe because we meet quite often since past 10 years. They took Thai Airways to Bangkok and straight away to JFK Airport in New York.

She left for Long Island University, CW Post Campus located in Brookville New York on Sunday 13 January. She will be doing journalism for 4 years and she's awarded a scholarship from ASTRO.

Her deeda was proud of her so do us. The first cousin to study abroad. I am so glad as i never had that chance before. She was accompanied by her deeda n mommy for the registration and they should be back by now as the parents planned to be there till 28th.

So good luck for your study. Don't forget your solat and puasa and don't forget to read the Quran which i gave u before depart.

Al - Fatihah

Our AVP II, Kak Jihan gave birth to a baby boy last friday. The 3rd child and the only son that she has 2 daughters aged 17 and 14.

We were so happy to hear that as this will be the last time she will be having a baby as she is now 40+.

Unfortunately, last thursday my boss received an email saying that "the doctor was correct and he is now on 02 again. Please pray so that he will stay longer with us". I was so sad and so do my boss. She was crying the whole efternoon as we feels so sorry to Kak Jihan. It happened to me as well as i know how hard it was as she told us earlier that she's been waiting for 14 years to get pregnant again.

And last nite at 9.30pm, the baby leave peacefully to meet the creator. Sedihnya rasa...i just found out half an hour ago as kak jihan doesn't has my no as i lost my mobile. She may forgot about my new no i think.

Alhamdulillah majlis pengebumian telah selesai dan syurga menanti kak jihan kerana anak itu menantinya di sana....

I planned to do a checklist for my wedding tonite so that it will make my life easier from today till my wedding day. Unfortunately, i dunno what happened, i feel like so lazy to do anything tonite and decided to write few words before browsing few websites for nothing.

It happened......

This is not the first time i managed an event alone but this is the first time i managed the team for an investor roadshow which consist of 3 continents and more than thousands miles of journey.

The roadshow team members are our President & GCE, Head of Plantation Division, Head of Strategy and Business Development, GroupCFO, Head of Investor Relations & Value Management (My boss) and Special Officer to GCE.

I managed erverything and ensure everything was in order and yes, it was. My boss was impress by my performance and satisfied everything i done. I was so glad that everything was so perfect.

The roadshow begin with an Investor Forum in Las Vegas organised by CLSA. This was terrible as i had some difficulties earlier.Towards the end, i managed to settle everything before the team flew to Vegas on saturday.

Upon arrival at the hotel, they found out that the room booked for our President was cancelled. OMG!!!!!!!!! I received the call at 1.00pm on Sunday. I was so shocked to find out about this as i confirmed everything with the hotel on 8th January and our Mr President was so upset about this. Mati laaaaaaaaaaaa..............!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I sent an email on Monday seeking for explanations. I need to know the exact situation as i called the hotel and ask them what caused the cancellation. What i got from CLSA was only a sorry. SORRY jer????????????? igt senang ka woiiiiiiiii???????????? Bos aku dh kena bambu kaw2 punya.......blk sini mesti aku kena.

I feel that this is the failure caused by me. I've checked for 3 times but this things happened. Sampai demam2 la dok pikiaq benda nih. MC 2 hari...still i am working from home to check everything must be in good conditions.

Hopefully our event in London runs smoothly as UBS is superb. I would prefer to work with them instead.

Engaged....i am engaged!

After few broke up episodes in my life,finally, i am engaged to Mohammad Husni Abdullah on December 21, 2007 (11 Zulhijjah 1428). The rombongan from Alor Star, Kedah arrived around 4.00 pm. After an hour of the meminang process, i am now a step towards marriage.

The ceremony were attended by 1/3 of my very big family (my mom has 6 siblings and more than a dozen of nieces n nephews and more than 2 football teams of grand nieces and grand nephews. my late father had 11 siblings but only 4 were there. My Pak Ngah,Chu,Pak Ndak wasn't there. My Pak Tam arrived after maghrib)

None of my frens were there except Tini. Others were not be able to attend my engagement. Both my bestfrens Nur n Arni were not there as both of their husbands working on that day.

Punya la nerbes tak ingat time tuh. Berpeluh2....hehehe....org nerbes sejuk kaki tangan, aku plak nerbes berpeluh...cayaq habih mekap kt muka. His mom did the sarung cincin ceremony. Ketaq woooiiii........hahahaha. Insyaallah the wedding will be in May. So sapa2 yg dpt kad tp x mai tu blh la pos hadiah besaq skit...hehehe...

I was so sad as my late father wasn't around to accept the meminang for me. Sedihnya....mula2 tu ok lg..but after i looked at my mak teh, i started to cry...I wish he could be there during tht day...tp apakan daya kuasa Allah melebihi segala2nya...i was so fortunate as at least my uncle represent the family and he has this chance for the first and last i think as he doesn't has own kids.
